My awesome personality

I have been acting a little independently lately. I have been sleeping by myself in my little condo, sitting by Mom while she does work, and not meowing much. Just being a good little mister!

But last night, I decided to go sleep with Mom (although I was out and about at what Mom would call an unreasonable hour), then because she wasn't up yet at 9:30, I decided to go wake her up! After that, I was super affectionate with her and following her around everywhere. She's gone to class now, but I can't wait until she gets back to give me some much deserved treats for being such a good little boy lately!! :)

Classical cat!

Mom and I both LOVE classical piano arrangements. I find it so relaxing and I tend to perk up my ears and purr when it comes on. Mom plays classical piano, but she can't here because her piano is at her Mom's. She said if she had her piano here, our neighbours probably wouldn't like us very much, AND she said nobody would be able to get it up here anyway. When I was a baby and Mom would play, I used to go lay behind her and listen.

She has been playing some Pachelbel (our favourite composer), and I LOVE this CD because along with the Canon in D, there is the sound of waves and birds. I find it so relaxing.. in fact, I think I will go nap now and dream of being wherever that music is coming from....

Where I chose to sleep last night..

At first, Mom wasn't too impressed with my decision to sleep in the middle of the bed, but I just wanted to snuggle, so in the end, she was happy.
