Mmmmmm.. liver!!

Well, although I hesitated at first, I decided to give my new treats a try last night. And guess what!! I LOVE them!!! When Mom came home today, she gave me some more, and they were all gone before Mom had the chance to see if I was enjoying them or not! Whoever thought healthy food would be so good! Mom's still in shock.

Uhhhh, so Mom went to the vet today to get me some more food. She decided to "try" to be nice and buy me a little Valentine's Day bandana that is red, pink, and white and says "I love only you" (Whatever....). Now get this! Mom bought me treats. Good right? WRONG!!!! They're HEALTHY treats!!! They're liver flavoured feline greenies that are supposed to clean teeth and freshen breath. What... the..... Needless to say, I just took one sniff and walked away. Mom said they were expensive and wanted me to give them a try. NO WAY MOM! Gross.... She thinks I'm possibly fussier than my Auntie J-J...

I LOVE MY BED!!!

A bond takes two!

My mommy loves me! We have been together for more than 13 years, and it was love at first sight. She says I am the most loyal furkid anyone could ever have, and I have never disappointed her in any way. I am such a calm and charming kitty! I would never hurt anyone, and place a lot of trust in people. Mom and I have a silent and special understanding. Sometimes we'll just sit there staring at each other and I squint my eyes at her (in kitty language, it means I trust her), and she'll squint back at me to return the trust. When she comes home, she comes looking for me even before she puts her stuff down, and I am usually on her mind all day whenever she's not with me. (Nothing like being obsessed with me Mom!)

But, she has to realize that someday I will be gone. Unfortunately kitties don't last forever. She says she wishes I could be with her forever and ever, and although I wish I could too (because she gives me treats of course!), I will someday go to Rainbow Bridge where I will have fun running and playing with other kitties, doggies, ratties, birdies, fishies, etc. under the sun, rainbows, and surrounded by beautiful trees, green grass, (and maybe catnip??? That must grow there too!) It all sounds so beautiful!

But until then, my commitment is as Mommy's baby boy, and we make each other very happy through cuddles, headbutts, and trusting eye squints.

Back in the Capital!!

Well, Mom and I are back now! Mom is VERY proud of me for my trip to and from the grandparents, and I was even pretty sociable while I was visiting! Mom was scared that I would hide under the bed again for a couple weeks when we got back home, but I didn't!! I went straight to the litter box, and made myself right at home (because that's where I am. :)
