Weekend adventures..

Well, Mom was away this weekend for a trip to the National Park near her hometown, and also for her brother's bday and little cousin's 1st communion. Overall, it was a busy weekend for her. I got to spend it with Auntie, so I wasn't too lonely! >^^<

On her way out of the city, Mom saw her first Osprey nest of the season, and the bird was home!! She would have stopped, but there were cars in back of her, so she didn't want to cause an accident. MOL.. She also didn't want to make the Osprey an unhappy camper for being so close to the nest.

At Grandma's, Mom saw lots of Pheasants and ducks.

Our feeder is back up now (until the Pigeons rediscover it), and we have been receiving quite a few visitors! So far, Mom has noticed lots of Chickadees, a Redpoll, and just now we had a Chipping Sparrow.

Anyway, that's about all for now!

Happy Easter!

Well, today was an interesting day to say the least. Lots of laughs and good food, even if it was just Mom and me. At first, she was just going to make some stuffing for supper, but that quickly evolved into stuffing, peas, corn, sweet potatoes, beets in vinegar and my personal favourite, honey-of-a-ham with pineapple sauce!!! I also spent the afternoon with my head in Mom's shoe which she sort of laughed at.. apparently I love the smell of her shoe(???)

Other than that, Mom's done classes for the semester, and she only has 2 final exams. She will certainly be kept busy with teaching, public lectures, conferences, preparing for an oral French test, and the preparation of her professional teaching portfolio. Of course, she will have to try to find the time for some reading too and other leisurely activities.

7am: Wake Mom to feed me my breakfast consisting of wet food (maybe. If I feel like it.)

7:05am: Eat Course 1 of breakfast

7:15am: Drink water from the bathroom water dish.

7:17am: Pee, poop, track litter on the carpet for Mom to clean up.

7:22 am: Sleep

8am: Eat Course 2 of breakfast

8:10am: Sleep

12pm: Lunch #1

12:10pm: Sleep

2pm: Lunch #2

2:05pm: Drink water

2:10pm: Sleep

5:30pm: Supper #1

5:40pm: Sleep

7pm: Supper #2

7:10pm: Sleep

8pm: Cuddles with Mom

8:10pm: Snack (TREATS!!!!)

8:15pm: Sleep

10pm: Late night snack

10:10pm: Sleep

12:30am: Bedtime routine with Mom (if I feel like it.)

Happy April!

Mom and I can't believe it's already April. That means lots of things. For instance, in a year from now, she will be done her studies (Well, her two undergrad degrees. Graduate studies are yet to be determined aka. if she wins the lottery someday).

Anyway, last weekend was fun. Mom got to rattie-sit and finally got to meet Auntie's little baby girls!! I got to see pictures. They're so cute!! It was a short visit with them, but Mom had fun with them as always. Of course, I enjoyed some time with her too. She was sick with the flu over the weekend, so there was lots of couch time with her.
